RESET. The journey, 2020.

 Today’s Homily is about the journey, 2020 with the title RESET. I will be sharing my story as a voyage through the year 2020.

   Reset means to start again, it also means to reinvent. We all planed to succeed. As a veteran, you re-strategize your goals at every interval in other not to fade out among your contemporaries. Resetting is an opportunity for an awesome shift in life. When you refuse to reset, you’ve planned to crumble, when you refuse to reset you choose not to grow.

Just like most persons, I planed 2020 with my goggles and goblet on my table with a long list of aspirations to crush. “While, did you crush them?” One may ask. Crushing wasn’t the problem but starting is always a challenge. As you read deep into my journey, note that Reset is an opportunity given as a child of God for reformation and alignment. Life is of a few years (job 14:1). Challenges shouldn’t make us derail from our ministry as a child of God.

In 2020 I haven’t scored a goal yet, even though I cant vividly tell you the last soccer I played, but at least I was part of a game!. And so are you. As far as there is life in you you are part of the game and you could give that dying minute winning goal or equalizing goal by simply resetting those wonderful strategies.  

Amidst the lockdown I recorded victories releasing some spoken word videos; “the human body” which emphasis was on the human body, racism, and this piece sprung as a result of the killing of George Floyd #blackLifesMatters. Secondly, “LOCKDOWN” was released. This is a wrap of the lockdown experience. You have to listen to the audio or watch the video. Thirdly, was the novel “BRIDES ARE BIRDS”. I Also recorded “Unspoken Words, Tales of an Iroko”, and many more when you go through the blog and the latest which is “Toll- Gate”.

As we rise above the 2020 crises with the plan of resetting, as we walk into 2021, here are some key areas to reset.

Key Area to Reset as 2020 Rounds off.

• Renew your mind constantly. Lamentation 3:22

• Take a break from the distractions of the world.

• Enjoy every little moment of 2020. It won’t be here again.

• Invest! invest in your self and also financially. Stop “bring two and win big” If you understand 🙄 you are a suspect 😀😅. Invest in stocks, bonds, and real estate and reap the returns later.

Finally, December is here. The season of celebration and a season where we unite and reset to make 2021 a splendid one. And don’t forget that CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.
